A very last resort hotel.

Posted 15 Jun 2019 on Hotels
Showers and toilets very moldy and dirty. Both of us were insect bitten, no flying insects were visible in the room. On arival a male person on reception when we booked in after that no one about. Card reader and documents left on the desk and visable to see.

Former F1 - Revamped

Posted 8 Sep 2018
This is a former Formula 1 (F1) chain hotel - so the building is quite dated, but has had some improvements done. It has been re-decorated and has new carpets and floor tiles. The Room TVs have been replaced with a larger, better model. The beds have new, sprung mattresses- which are really comfortable- and would not be out of place in a much more expensive hotel. The best sleep I have had for weeks ! The cheap rooms are NOT en-suite, although there is a sink in the room. The showers and toilets are located in the corridors - the same as in the F1 hotels. There is NO air conditioning in the rooms - if this is an issue, stay elsewhere. The rooms and bedding are very clean - there is a soap supplied in the room and showers AND decent quality towels are supplied in the rooms for your use - be aware that in a “real” F1 hotel there is a surcharge of 3 Euros for the use of a towel. The hotel does NOT offer breakfast - so bring your own or eat elsewhere. It does offer a large dining room for you to use and there is a kettle and microwave available for guests to use. There is free parking and gate to the parking area and hotel is secured between midnight and 0600 - so it’s best to arrive before midnight as the reception is manned until midnight - or at least it was when I checked in. Book via internet for the best rates,as always. It is better than the original F1 hotels and nuch cleaner. If the location suits you, give this hotel a try.

Just one night so don't take it as gospel

Posted 10 Aug 2018 on Hotels
The staff there are amazing about half have very good English but those that can't speak English will do whatever they can to help. The hotel is next to a main road but there is very little traffic at night. No classic English acholic drinks (cider, foster, ect) try the local stuff, leffe blonde was beautiful. If you don't have transport I would make a pass due to not much there in walking distance.
