Yes odd that they have cups and no saucers in room and for breakfast.
Also when we arrived the gentleman who opened the door wasn’t the most welcoming.

Immaculate bed and breakfast in a great location to walk to a number of eateries and local independent shops. Our hosts Nick & Judith gave us a warm welcome and their attention to detail was spot on. Fabulous place, we shall be back!

Wonderful stay
Posted 18 Jun 2024 on HotelsThe Avalon House is the quintessential British B&B. Judith and Nick were the perfect hosts. The village of Lyndhurst is lovely. The room was immaculate and the breakfast delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the New Forest.

Good size room with tea and coffee making. Cycle storage. Staff went out of their way to provide me an early breakfast. Walking distance from restaurants etc.
