The Cravat is a lovely hotel in the City centre. I was given a brilliant room on the 5th floor with a balcony. I do like the fact that I was given a tasty apple every day.

We were so pleased with everything during our two-night stay. Our room was spacious and overlooked the city. Large bathroom with amenities, including bathrobes. The beds were wonderful. The elegant decor and architecture was very well maintained. Several turn-of-the century seating areas and beautiful wooden bar and winding staircase. Unfortunately, we had much rain, but the proximity to numerous restaurants and sites still lured us! The breakfast was extremely well-displayed with a great variety of foods. Attentive servers! The reception gentleman went above-and-beyond, providing us with information, maps, answering our questions about the history of the hotel, restaurants, tram connections to the train station, —and all with wit and a bit of humor! But he did not laugh at my very limited French! (We are from Seattle, Washington, USA.). Would LOVE to be able to return here someday…

In the center of everything! We walked to all the restaurants and shopping. Beautiful sights to see right there. Took bus 16 from and to the airport. It’s free. 25 min. Would highly recommend this hotel

The room doesn't have air conditioning, and it's dirty. The staff is unkind, and overall, it doesn't feel like a 4-star property at all. However, the best part is that the property is in a prime location.

Strategic location in downtown Luxembourg. Lots to see and do around the hotel.
Some wear and tears in the room, but bed is very comfortable. In fall and winter rooms without air conditioning and a window facing inward turn out to be all right, but I could imagine it'd be a bit unbearable in the summer.
Didn't try the bar - not a drinker.
