Nice large rooms and comfy bed. The food was very delicious and typical German fare. Decor is a little old in the bedrooms with squeaky wooden floor boards. Surrounding area is nice with some shops but nothing big.

Location was perfect for exploring beautiful architecture and historic sites. No AC but cooled off with opening large windows. If you don’t sleep well with ambient noise, the church bell every 15 minutes, though muted, may not be your thing. Over all an enjoyable stay.

Quiet and Convenient Location
Posted 6 Oct 2017 on OrbitzEnjoyed the historical ambiance in this somewhat older hotel. Nicely updated with comfortable bed, big bathroom and excellent breakfast. I ate dinner at lovely restaurant in hotel lobby. Relaxing and at the same time elegant dinner atmosphere. Would recommend if you enjoy peace and tranquility.
