The room seemed a little dated and had a strange odor but was spacious, clean and had all the essentials

We arrived a little late, between 7 & 8, and checked in. The person who checked us in said she was leaving at 8. The room that she gave us smelled awful. We found out later that the cleaning and other staff knew this - had tried to solve the issue, without success. The person who checked us in said nothing about it. By the time we would have requested another room, she was gone. Would never stay there again.
