OK.But proper management can improve the place.
Posted 31 Jan 2022 on HotelsMake sure that hey dont push you to the brown coloured apartments. When you book a hotel room, they should give you a hotel room. Demand for it.
The Apartments are terrible.
But they will insists that you go there.

A nightmare - Marina Island Pangkor resort & hotel
Posted 29 Jan 2020 on HotelsNo valet service at arrival to our hotel (D'Ocean) Internet access was weak. No spa facilities & not informed by staff where to find this. Snorkellling is not at the hotel but rather at the beach (Coral Beach). There is no proper beach at the hotel although it is advertised. The restaurant food was awful with many items out of stock (no soft drinks, no burgers, no lamb, no cheese cake etc). Our steak on the first evening was a minute steak not ribeye, very small and so tough you can make a handbag out of it. The second evening our fish was frozen and raw in the middle. Coffee in the morning was cold. On departure the staff did not even ask if we enjoyed our stay - this is basic hotel etiquiette.
