Very unique building. Area is nice and really in a great spot. AC didn’t seem to work but it is cool outside so not an issue. There was a red stain on one of the duvet covers. Tried calling reception about it but no answer. Didn’t bother me much. Breakfast was really nice but a little pricey.

This stay was great, we were only here for one night for an event in Stuttgart before travelling back to Essen but it was perfect for what we needed. We arrived early and checked in early, sat in the lovely bar downstairs before heading into the city. Easy transport links from the city out to the hotel made this stay even better. If ever planning a trip to Stuttgart again, we would definitely consider staying here in Ludwigsburg and travelling in and out.

Parking not free as was advertised plus no a/c

Was charged 14 euro for parking. Hotel page on hotels.com said free parking for gold members, which is why I booked the hotel. Also air conditioning did not work. It just blew warm air it did not have any cooling function even though I turned the control to its coldest setting. The fridge was like an oven inside, it also did not work. Could be a perfect hotel but was ruined by these three failures.

We recommend submitting your parking receipt to Expedia (hotels.com’s parent company), and they should be able to refund the parking fee as part of their Gold member benefits.We apologize for the confusion and hope this resolves the issue for you. Worst pillow I ever had Toilet dirty Overall hotel is not 4 star. Maybe 3. Staff was nice Convenient location

The property was fine, as usual. However, we were let down by Expedia, who offerred the best price. On booking we booked breakfast and the price increased accordingly. On check-in at the Nestor, our breakfast was NOT booked and moreover, the room was well below the Nestor's usual high standards. We will NEVER again use Expedia.
