"We were pleasantly surprised we enjoyed our stayand the kids really enjoyed the pool. This may not be a place to stay if you want really quiet as you can hear everything in the hallway and the walking upstairs over your head. We were in town for cheer comps so there was kids being kids it didnt bother us as one of the cheer families. We brought a fan it drowned the noise enough to get to sleep all in all it was great. "We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. "We stayed one night - January 26. I came up from Boston with my adult child who had to take a training at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place. I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring. The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality. "
