We knew we would be in the attic room so stairs did not bother us. A light or nightlight at the top of the stairs would make it a lot safer.
Breakfast was wonderful and the staff accommodated an early morning departure with breakfast laid out!

Big room with ensuite and a/c
Posted 9 Sep 2024 on HotelsGreat room at the top so watch your head. Only one with a/c and en-suite bathroom although down a flight of stairs. Definitely worth it. Good breakfast. The property is about 20 mins walk from Lucerne centre

Really lovely and easy stay in Lucerne - very comfortable beds! Breakfast is great, and the location is very convenient - a bit further out but a very easy walk into the centre. Close to lots of good restaurants but easier to be out the centre a little bit for parking! Reception sorted out our parking permit, very straight forward and highly recommend if you’re stopping in Lucerne!

Older house nicely renovated with bath facilities. Nice breakfasts. Rooms themselves and furniture simple. For the money well worth it

Pros: a 15-minute walk to the center of the old town; a good breakfast with plenty of options; comfortable beds; ceiling fans (absolutely essential for August; housekeeping reset the room. Cons: shared bathrooms (somehow I missed this when booking); very basic room furnishings (nothing on the walls, no color anywhere, at least not in ours); feels a bit like a hostel (without the hostel bargain price); “parking available” means it is paid street parking (CHF 20 for a day pass through an app). Overall, decent and clean but not fancy by any stretch.
