Wonderful location and very nice and helpful staff. Room was well appointed. Breakfast was very good and varied. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Lucerne. Location provided quiet room but old town shops nearby as are bridges across the river. This hotel is a gem!

Boutique Hotel Karl has a convenient position right by the old town and a wonderful breakfast selection. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was warm and functional. Highly recommended

Fast check in and check out process.
Quiet environment, and safe.
Good view of the river.
Has luggage storage availability after check out.
Friendly front desk and dining staff.
Pretty average breakfast options.
Triple room was spacious and clean.
Bus stop 'bruggligasse' very close by for bus line 9 that travels to the train station.
Would recommend a stay here while in Lucerne.

Excellent mid price option in easy walking distance of all of central Luzern, and reasonably walkable with rolling luggage from the train station (one set of stairs). The staff was kind and helpful, and breakfast was good.

Lovely staff, nice room with little balcony, very near busy historic area but quiet. Nice breakfast. Great Italian restaurant steps away.
