There was no public transportation to this location and they could only meet me until 8pm for check in....I had to make other arrangements at the last minute.

Good morning, the check-in time is indicated in the hotel card and is until 4.30 pm.
I sent several messages from 9.30 in the morning but she never answered me on the booking portal, on Whatsapp .....
To reach the property there are some buses and taxis are always usable. If he had posed the problem in time we could have organized ourselves to come and take it personally ...
Probably she had decided to come to the Bed & Brekfast after the Elton John concert in the night, but not being a Hotel we don't have the possibility to wait for the guests at those times.

I am very frustrated with this hotel. We were only in town for one night and we are on a budget when traveling, so we wanted to stay somewhere in Lucca center. The map had the hotel listed right outside of Lucca center, after arriving at the location listed on the map, we discovered it was the wrong hotel and the map was incorrect. The actual location was 4 miles away. With limited taxi service due to Easter, we would not be able to taxi back and forth. In turn, I had to book a different hotel last minute. The B&B owner would not refund us even though his listing was VERY misleading. I am very letdown by this.

Mi dispiace per l'inconveniente occorso, l'indirizzo del B&B era stato indicato corretto non sappiamo per quale motivo i tecnici di Expedia (Hotel.com) abbiano commesso questo errore.
Non abbiamo potuto rimborsare la camera per 2 motivi:
1) ci sono collegamenti idonei a raggiungere la struttura che si trova a 10 minuti di auto dal centro di Lucca.
2) abbiamo rinunciato ad altre prenotazioni perchè non abbiamo saputo della Sua volontà di cancellare fino alle ore 8,00 pm (quando avete risposto ai messaggi inviati dal proprietario sul vostro telefono e sul portale di hotel.com) quando invece siete arrivati alla struttura sbagliata intorno alle 5,00 pm, costringendo una persona ad aspettarvi inutilmente.
Come mi avete scritto nel messaggio che mi avete inviato, non siete venuti al B&B perchè la vostra volontà era quella di soggiornare in città.

Leider riechen die Zimmer etwas. Es gab fliegengitter an den Fenstern. Frühstück war nichts brsonnderes. Sehr laute straße. Sehr kleine einfahrt.

Grazie per la sua recensione, la colazione è molto abbondante è vi è stato permesso di utilizzare il buffet senza limiti, tanto che abbiamo dovuto integrare molte volte le pietanze. La strada è molto silenziosa, specialmente la notte, mi dispiace che non se ne sia accorto.
Le zanzariere sono presenti a tutte le finestre per il confort dei clienti.

piccolo problema sull'incroenza del civico tramite il navigatore ma personale pronto ad aiutare subito. la struttura si pone con un bel parcheggio una piscina e tavolini esterni molto belli per il resto la camera molto ampia con bagno "magnifico" sopratutto la doccia davvero grande "2 persone" personale simpatico e cordiale.
bel b&b nel totale!
