There is no lift for this property which is on the second floor. The breakfast was really bad, all there was were sweet cakes, rather than cheese, jam, fresh bread. We move a small table to the left dyring our stating to have more light and we were foing to put it back once we left, we we were told off by the staff

We are not surprised by your review given that you also stole two books from the room. You don't move the furniture as you want in a room that doesn't belong to you. Do you know the value of the table being an antique object?! Breakfast do you think we also have the highest rating!!! do you know what an Italian breakfast is? Yes there are stairs, normal in an 1700s building in Lucca.We thank you and are waiting for expedia's response to the attitude you have already reported.Best regards

Lovely B&B, host was lovely and recommended some great places to eat and drink, breakfast was great, brilliant location. Shower wasn’t great but it certainly didn’t spoil things 😊

next time will stay longer... Giacomo was a great host and made sure we were all taken care of at reception and breakfast... nice rooms, great location within the walls of Lucca.

Owner mgr and staff very courteous. Great breakfast options and was very helpful, facility was very clean.

You have been the worst clients I have had in 14 years of this profession. The gentlemen violated our and other customers' right to privacy.You are rude, aggressive and arrogant people.We were kind enough to leave our luggage at the reception, after the check out time, to collect it in the early afternoon.Taking advantage of our absence, without any permission they took the key to a room from the reception and entered a room belonging to other customers, using the bathroom. We noticed it immediately once we returned to our B&B. They left the bathroom dirty and the lights on. Luckily for us the new customers hadn't checked in yet.You have violated both internal rules and those of the Italian constitution. At the moment we are not filing criminal charges for violation of our and the customer's privacy, but we are thinking about it and have only reported it to expedia.com

Great spot for being able to walk all over Lucca! Paid parking nearby worked out perfectly with an advanced booking. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight with open air balcony with views of rooftops. Our host Giacomo was organized and very professional . We enjoyed our stay very much.
