This is water front with views of Johnson Bay and the lobster boats. Seals look up at you while they are swimming by. Exceeded our expectations.

It was further away then Expedia said it was so we didn’t stay there. So it may have been fine, but was too far away. The rating should not be held against the motel. This is not the first time distance from location was incorrect.

Hello Linda, sorry to hear you were not given proper information from Expedia. Lubec is quite far away from everything, but that is it's charm. We advise that you always call us with any uncertainty over location or lodging or whatever it might be. disappointing that the restaurant was closed and we were not notified in advance so we had to travelways to find dinner that night; not much available in the area; staff Ferri, helpful, however, I would recommend this place and would stay at it again

We stayed for several nights and it was perfect- our balcony had a wonderful water view - showing both sunrise and sunset. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. There was a really nice common are that included a full kitchen- we left our perishables in the fridge. The staff were all really helpful. The only thing it could use was more hooks. But seriously, a very nice experience.
