We like how convenient it was to travel and return to the hotel. I was very happy the beds were soft and supported my bad back. We will return next week for more doctor appointments and will stay at Hawthorn. Couple items we didn't care for, there were no trash cans in the room. And the toilet paper needs to be upgraded. It was so thin and fell apart in ones fingers. Other then that, loved the big room.

I really enjoyed my time there. It was very clean and convenient. The staff was great, but there was alot of noise from other neighbors that was not very welcoming. However, overall it was very pleasant time!

My daughter and I had a great stay at the Hawthorn Suites. The rooms were spacious, indoor pool was great, and complimentary breakfast was a plus. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They were going through some remodels during our stay, but it really wasn’t an issue for us. We will stay there again whenever we visit Lubbock.

The person attending the front desk at the time that we checked in was Kee. She is definitely the standard that you should base all guest interactions on. It was later in the evening when we arrived, yet her awesome energy gave us weery travelers a boost. She is a breath of fresh air when it comes to customer service. She is very engaging, and did I mention energetic. She is well deserving of any performance bonuses that your organization issues.

The property is under renovation and we booked knowing that. It was, however, close to the hospital my husband was having a procedure at. The living/kitchen area was not too bad, but the bathroom was not. The worst was while doing the last check on our departure, my husband found a condom wrapper between the bed and end table.

Overall rating is a 3 star. We unfortunately had to get placed in a new room after our first room looked as if it had not been cleaned a couple stays. Floors were filthy, bathroom was dirty, etc. Thankfully front desk & management on duty got us put into a newer, cleaner room. This property is under remodel & has lots of potential. Beds were comfortable & overall property felt safe.

Nice place, lobby was under construction, but clean. Parked my car under a lit billboard and was absolutely covered in pigeon poop by morning. It would be great if the desk staff would provide warnings or a sign. Don’t park under the electric billboard. Fitness center equipment needs maintenance.

I will never book a room with your hotel again. We booked a room with free cancellation if need be and we ended up having to cancel 30 minutes after booking the reservation and we are being told we’re not gonna be refunded even though my email says if we canceled by the 15th at five we would get a full refund. And management was extremely rude and not helpful at all

Check in was easy. The staff for check in was a little rude when we asked for towels for the pool however. The room above us was loud the whole night however jumping around sounded like kids doing gymnastics above us. Room was clean but run down. Check out lady was very nice.

We had no hot water in our room. There was a lack of parking and it didn't feel real safe. While the room was nicely decorated and spacious, the price was great but I don't know if we'd stay here again.
