1) Wifi is very bad, hence smart TV in room becomes useless.
2)Very run-down and in need of repair in many areas.
3)Breakfast is underwhelming.

Property is well located and clean. It had 2 major downsides for me. These days we travel with a fair bit of technology that needs charging and our room had only 2 power points. Even worse, there was no power point that accepted a 3 pin plug which is needed to charge a laptop. Breakfast is not included in the room tariff but is available. I found that the eggs and bacon was cold every morning. Not very appealing.

Pros: Service was exceptional-special thanks to James at rest of staff. Good location too - very central.
The room was very comfortable.
Cons: Being a vegetarian i felt the breakfast wasnt great. Quite noisy as i could hear Cockerells from 4am but that cant be helped. It is a busy period in Luang Prabang so all hotel's are bumping up the price - despite this, i didnt think £120/night was worth it all.

Sunrise is a nice little sanctuary of a property not far from the evening market. The hotel grounds are well kept and cute. Great pool area, although the pool runs very cold. The rooms were perfect--charming, clean and roomy. The staff are very warm and helpful.

Great stay at Luang Prabang
Posted 30 Jun 2023 on HotelsMy husband & I stayed at this lovely, peaceful hotel for 2 nights in June 2023. It was in a good central location, close to shops & night markets where the food & drinks were cheap & good. Our hotel room was clean, bed comfy & nice free toiletries. The outside surrounds were beautiful & very well maintained, as was the pool. The included free breakfast was very good with a huge selection of western & Asian cuisine. And the manager was very helpful & couldn't have done more for us.
