Donna and hubby were perfect hosts. Location requires a car. Close to post Douglas and Cap Trib experiences.

Pillows smelled like other people. Shared bathroom and no mention of that on website. Had to go outside to access shared ammenities. Toilet smelled. Hand basin and mirror very dirty.

Friendly husband and wife team, but overall upkeep of the Zoo area was poor. Needs a bit more effort in this area.

Very unique stay excellent if you love animals.
Posted 7 Jul 2018We stayed for 2 nights. Room was good with comfortable beds and pillows.
The owner Gil was very friendly and you were made to feel like the zoo was yours. You could go into the zoo whenever you wanted, even at night which was an eerie experience and was well worth doing.
Breakfast was continental with various fresh breads and spreads, cereal, fresh mango juice, tea and coffee. This was included in the price.
This hotel is great for people who like animals and want a different hotel experience. If ever back in the Daintree I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely bed and breakfast with a unique experience
Posted 11 Feb 2018 on WotifThe staff were friendly and helpful. We got to see the crocodiles being fed after breakfast. Gil recommended some local sights to see that were perfect for us. The room was spacious and comfortable. Overall a great place to stay for a getaway.
