Disappointing stay
Posted 18 Nov 2023 on HotelsNot great value for the money. Carried our bags up a steep walk, then three flights of stairs. Room was tiny and hard to move around with suitcases. Strangely, no curtain or door on the en suite bathroom so it was awkward for two. Kitchen was nice but breakfast is just muffins etc. so not a proper breakfast

Relaxing
Posted 12 Nov 2023 on HotelsThis place was so amazingly beuatiful. The one thing i wish there was maybe some of the sample soaps and shampoo and conditioner...But i will be staying again. It was so relaxing. Kitchen well stocked.

Beautiful place, very comfortable room and by far the best stocked kitchen that I’ve seen. Even a stocked bar!

A Great Night at the Butcher Rose
Posted 18 Sep 2023 on HotelsThe Butcher Rose left absolutely nothing to be desired. The home is so well done, it was a joy to just walk the property. The historic charm mixed with the comforts of today were balanced perfectly. Whether for a quick overnight stay or a stay with a large group for an event, I know this BnB will not disappoint. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. There was plenty of space to fee at home, work, cook, or relax. Want to hang outside? They have that covered too! The pastries left for breakfast were so delicious and we appreciated the complimentary snacks! The location was right where we wanted to be and easy to access a lot of Louisville. We absolutely plan to stay again in the future!

Amazing place, great communication from the staff in advance (given it doesn't have a front desk). Comfortable, well stocked, and a wonder vibe. The only improvement I can think of, for someone to set up coffee the night before on an auto-start.
