Disappointed

The photos did not look like the actual hotel. The room sort of looked like the photo's but the description was not correct. It is on an actual roundabout on a busy road and the beach was on the other side of the roundabout which made it around 100 yards away. The place looked like a 2 star motel. The room was clean but the windows were really small and the shower needs to be replaced. The bed was comfortable.

However we do not have all our room with see view and we are sorry if you have understood the opposite. The see view rooms are up to 30% more expensive compared with other rooms . A light bulb in the room was not working. The bathroom wink was clogged.

We have been staying in 4 star hotels on our trip and so I thought it’s time for my young family to see what differences 2 stars made- to be honest despite the “ luxury” differences this was a very pleasant stay and the staff were very helpful. The Italian restaurant around the corner was also a very delightful surprise.

Comfortable stay near Perros-Guirec

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Beds were among the most comfortable of our three-week trip. The hotel receptionist was particularly friendly and helpful with recommendations. The hotel was not in the central part of Perros-Guirec but it was a short pleasant walk to the town. About the only weak part of the hotel was the poor WiFi connectivity and/or bandwidth. I lost the connection on my phone multiple times while trying to reserve a hotel for the next night and struggled loading a map.

Could do with a refurb but wonderful service

We recently stayed at the Hotel les Sternes for one night as a stopover on the way to Southern Brittany and found it to be a good quality 2-star hotel. The standard of service we received from the hotel staff during our stay was very good - from the warm welcome we received on arrival to the friendly service at breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. We felt that the decor of the rooms was rather dated and that a refurbishment is perhaps overdue, however they were spotlessly clean and were clearly well-maintained. Breakfast was perfectly adequate - buffet-style with plenty of fresh bread, croissants, jams etc. - and the drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. The hotel also scores well on location as it is within walking distance of Perros-Guirec, and is an ideal base from which to explore the Pink Granite Coast - which is spectacular!

Terrible

Très mauvaise surprise, personne a l’accueil à notre arrivée. Explications données par telephone et l’on doit se servir la clé de la chambre seuls. Ensuite lit deja utilisé à notre arrivée (voir photo) soit disant par un intrus. Obligé d’appeler et de refaire faire la chambre. Sans parler de la saleté, de la vétusté et du manque d’entretien autant de la chambre que du bâtiment. Une véritable honte. Petit déjeuner cher pour un café lyophilisée et des mini croissants surgelés.. grosse arnaque ! Tout va pour 120 euros…
