"We had a lovely stay. Room is basic but fine for what we needed. Beds are comfy but pillows not so much, 2 pillows for each person would be better. Sofa could do with a little clean. Facilities are good, breakfast was good and staff are friendly. Both times we have stayed here we have had to wait for are rooms to be ready, perhaps the hotel need to look to change their 2pm check in time that they state. But overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely come back to stay again soon. "

"Really big spacious apartments, pool area is big always managed to get a sun bed when coming back from a walk in the middle of the day. Activities for the children and the hotel cleaners were always busy offering to clean and replenish rooms"

"The staff at the reception desk are friendly and helpful, the pool area and bar was clean and reasonable priced. The door to enter the apartment had a gap between the door and floor and on 3 occasions we had a cockroach! Not sure whether they were coming under the door where the gap was. Reception did help and acted fast when we called them to get the cockroach out. Aircon was great in the bedroom area. Shower could have done with a good clean but other than that the room was fine. "

"First time staying at Plaza Azul, spotlessly clean, good house keeping services throughout. Apartments are well equipped, everything you need for doing your own food if required. "Apartment looks exactly as it appears in photos. Great furnishings. TV in bedroom too ! Bed was a little too firm for me, but they offered a blanket to use as a bit of a topper under the sheet. "The property we had was ideal straight out the door to the pool. Was well equipped. Only downfall was the shower. And only had our bedding changed once in 10 days. But staff were lovely and very helpful will definitely be back"

"Overall a great hotel location very good .This hotel was lovely , fresh & clean...staff very pleasant. However , the pool did not seem to be heated which in the cloudy weather was disappointing. Pool area lacked a little atmosphere , would of liked maybe some activities, maybe aqua aerobics. Breakfast was pretty much standard.Sea view not what we expected , it was more a side sea view. "

Totally worth what I paid!

"The hotel was cozy let’s say the least. If you’re a solo traveller, you will thoroughly enjoy here. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Special mention to Ceasar who was working during the dinner hours. Great customer service from him. The breakfast buffet was probably better than the dinner though in my opinion; there were more options etc. Overall, the rooms are stunning and bathrooms are super clean. "

"Overall we had a lovely week staying at the Secrets Lanzarote Resort. We award a 5* for the staff, especially Macarena, Head of Customer Experience, for her professionalism, approachability, and all round efforts to make our stay go well. Any disappointment we felt was more around the island itself, which doesn't offer a great deal for the visitor who doesn't want to sit by the pool all day every day. But we were saved by having hired a car and we explored what little there is on the island. Secrets is a 4 * hotel which is comfortable and welcoming and a relaxing place to be. "

Good spacious hotel

"After a mix up with other accommodation we had to make an emergency booking on the day. So our experience of the hotel was brief. However it was also a very pleasant one. The service from the staff at check in was spot on and took very little time. The room was surprisingly large and had everything you would need. The bed was comfy and there was a bath as well as a shower which pleased the wife!! Overall we had a short but very pleasant stay, so i would recommend it."
