We had a good stay! Staff was friendly. Toilet was a little messed up and just a little upset about the “continental breakfast..” it’s just bagels and nothing else really. You have to pay for a good breakfast, but that’s about it. Love the bar downstairs.

I think this is a good hotel especially for business travellers, couples and those looking to do the movie tours. The rooms were clean and spacious though i didn't find the bed very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very basic and there were not many other options within walking distance, apart from a starbucks and average looking breakfast restaurant outside. You can also buy breakfast in the hotel. My only gripe is that continental usually means more than bagels and pastry. The tea and coffee were not great and no drink options for kids unless you pay extra. This is why i dropped a star. The hotel was quirky though with lots of interesting art work. Very romantic and intimate. Great photo opportunities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The best thing though was the close location to the studio tours and Universal. About a 10 minute drive. If you looking for minimal fuss close to the studios then this is not a bad option especially given the price. The pool was very small. Maybe on for small children but not really for older kids that want to swim and splash about. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for a family visit to Universal Studios and Hollywood. This is a great botique hotel with a wonderful staff that consistently went out of their way to ensure a comfortable and pleasant visit.

This place lives up to the hype. Great pool and restaurant. We stayed in a suite and it was huge. Pricier than other hotels in the area and the valet parking is a little inconvenient, but the staff, especially the valets are amazing. Great vibes. Perfect for a sightseeing focused LA vacation.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Amarano, and it was an unforgettable experience for start to finish From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and an unparalleled level of hospitality the made us feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained and decorated with Hollywood memorabilia and old photos that take you back to your childhood. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff! They went above and beyond to ensure our stay as perfect!! We especially appreciated Norm,who always took great care of us and always remembered our names!! The Hotel Amarano is truly a gem and I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort, luxury and outstanding service! We can't wait to go back!!

The staff was amazing. Cant say enough good things about the staff. Continental breakfast was ok. Hot tub was ok also however the pool is noted as heated and was ice cold. None of this should allow for a $40.00 per day "resort" fee. Also noted rooms have microwaves, they do not. I was alotted an upgrade and that did not occur. I would stay again based on the staff and cleanliness alone.
