Very beautiful and lovely hotel! Only two things stood out for us that could be improved: Either avoid rooms with connecting doors, or this hotel needs better insulation. Our neighbours were incredibly loud, I thought they were outside our door but turned out they were just a room over and I could hear their conversation ver batim. Wasn’t enjoyable being woken up at 6:45 am to hear their discussion and knowing their exact plans for the day. They were loud themselves, but definitely an avoidable situation. This hotel also really needs a second hot tub. The small one they have was absolutely packed to the brim with people. Other than that, beautiful spot, clean and very friendly staff!

We arrived and the outside of the property looks very nice. Unfortunately, everything else was horrible! It was in the low 50 degrees outside and our room had no heat nor any hot water! We had booked the master suite ocean front and had our own jacuzzi. It was empty and when they tried to fill it, no hot water! We were so cold. They brought us a space heater, but it did not work, so they brought us 5 blankets. We were barely able to stay warm, and of course, there was no hot water, so we couldn't take a shower to warm up! Then we ordered room service and they totally overcharged us! Even though we had their menu in our hands, they said the price was higher and they added a surcharge. Stay away from this place...it's nothing like their webpage!!! We have disputed all charges on Amex. We ended up moving to Villa del Palmar, which was absolutely wonderful!

I’ve stayed at this place before. Looks like it’s under new management. Some rooms need some upgrade but for the price not bad and you have a beach. Local areas to eat including the pool area. Very low staff but did not affect our service. Security on the premises.

Hubby and I just spent 4 days at Loreto Bay Golf Resort and Spa...We loved the resort, it's a very spacious resort with its own private beach and lagoon! The establishment is well kept (taking in mind that its an old resort), our room was clean and establishment was well maintained. We enjoyed our food at the pool restaurant. Staff was very attentive. Looking forward of coming back soon!

The bay in front of the property is probably one of the prettiest bays in Loretto. The hotel is well kept and clean, restaurant options were beach bar only but the food was good. The included breakfast was excellent and worth the extra money. The area around this hotel has got some great restaurants, a liquor store, and a convenience store Easily walkable to all of these locations.

I was advised I could check in early then made to wait 4 hours. Asked to speak to Claudia the manager and told she was too busy. Front desk said my room was not occupied the night before but protocol said 3 pm check in. No place to eat or drink from 11 am to 3 pm. Rooms.dirty, resort run down. Asked for more pillows only allowed 2 per bed. Pool dirty and staff generally rude and dont care. Stay away this place is on a great beach but is the worst of the worst. Written by an experi3n ed traveller who compliments the best

This is not a resort. The location is excellent, view is stunning and the property has so much potential. The service and food were poor at best. The surrounding community of Loreto Bay is lovely/delightful. Many restauraunts in walkable distance. We will not stay at this "resort" in the future.
