First and foremost, we would like to thank the staff of the Wilde for making our first time in London one to remember. We were very nervous about finding the right place to stay and we would not change our choice of being with the Wilde if given one million chances. What did we like? 1. Communication between us and the staff was seamless. They have a WhatsApp set up which made making requests so easy and not a single request went unanswered or unfulfilled. 2. We arrived early, about two hours before check in and were given our room right away. 3. The room was stunning and exactly as advertised. Very clean, spacious, with a great view through the floor to ceiling windows. For snacks, we had a wide selection. Drinks included waters, sodas, teas, and espressos which were restocked with a moments notice. Given that this was an apartment hotel, we had a mini kitchen but it was all one would need. Fridge, stove, microwave, and even a dishwasher. 4. The area was clean, safe, and very convenient for those looking to hit all of the major attractions. Very walkable. A driver is not needed to get across town, but all Ubers were able to find the hotel very easily if one didn’t want to walk. 5. The property offered so many complimentary items. Free umbrellas were staged at the entrance in case of rain. Complimentary alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages were placed out, fresh, every evening. Staff were order the elevator for guests and were polite at each and every interaction.

What the Wilde lacks in size, it makes up for in location! Covent Garden imo, is the best location in London, followed by Westminster and Kensington. The bathroom is so tiny and the sink is outside the bathroom, which was a little weird. It’s apparent that women and their toiletries were not considered with the design of bathrooms in London (as we found this to be true with our other hotels as well.) Nothing fancy here, but it’s clean and in a good location. The bed is awkward as one person will always have to hop over another to get in or out - somewhat inconvenient. I would recommend for a family as my hubby and I found the space to be quite tight. But the staff are lovely and welcoming.

I regularly travel and use Expedia to book my hotels and have never written a bad review before. I booked this hotel for my mother as she had a business conference in London and it was three (3) minutes from it. The room they gave her was extremely dirty and not up to standard, the bedding was dirty with black stains everywhere and she was bit 5-6 times all over her body with the bites looking like it was bed bugs or spiders. She went to the Doctor and got a note as well in addition to pictures and videos of the bites. She asked to move to another room and went through the same exact thing the next night. I have personally never experienced this while travelling and it's unacceptable. I need to get a refund as this completely ruined my mother's trip.

Our first visit to UK from the US - this property was so convenient to everything! It had everything we needed. Transportation, restaurants, pubs - all right there. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Appreciated the ability to store suitcases before checking.

Staff was helpful and very kind. Perfect for a quick one night stay in the middle of town. Did think the room could have been slightly more clean.
