staff are very rude during check in. I had an altercation with three front desk staff . Instead of the deescalating the situation the three of them engaged me. Even when i left the registration counter, two of them followed me at the lobby where i sat down and continue to confront me. Place not recommenrd And should be out of Expedia.

Horrible stay at Travelodge London Central Tower
Posted 17 Oct 2023 on HotelsWifi was down a lot, not great when you’re on a business trip. When I got my room at check-in, I couldn’t get into the room, and finally someone opened the door -apparently someone were already in my room, so I had to drag my luggage all the way down to the reception and get a new room. Receptionist seemed stressed out.
One of them distinctly made a statement that I wouldn’t get charged for the first night but when checking my bill, I see that they charged me the full fee anyway.
Also, the soap dispensers in the batbroom were out of soap, the sink clogged and there was mold at the bottom of shower.
The windows faces a train track and it gets loud when the trains pass so you really can’t sleep with the window open.
Will never stay at a Travelodge again.

Great location.... Staff was very friendly... Breakfast buffet was convenient and a good price.
Amenities were the only minus.... no refrigerator... no microwave... limited clothes store area.
It was excellent for the price1 I would stay there again!!!

Perfect area within walking to London Tower, London Bridge and the Thames as well as others. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices and all you can eat. The rooms are extremely small but clean and satisfying if your aim is to sightsee and have a clean safe space to return to. We will definitely keep it on our list to stay when we return to London

Friendly and welcoming staff. Buffet breakfast was great. Located next to a train was a bit noisy at night but closing the window provided good soundproofing. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel for one night during my stay in London. Love the location of this property very central too a lot of attractions. We had an issue with the air conditioner, and they moved us to another room which was very nice. Breakfast buffet very tasty and convenient. I would suggest for them to put at least water in the room since they don’t count with any minibar or mini fridge. Overall decent stay.

I don’t understand how this hotel got 4 plus stars. It was clean and the staff was VERY courteous but…. Internet has to be paid for BY THE DEVICE, and even then it was slow. The rooms were bare bones with nothing but a bed and built in reading lights and small cubby holes. There was no place to unpack your clothes and no AC, but a heater. The worst of it all was is there’s a train running ever 5-20 minutes RIGHT outside your window. I asked the staff to move us as we wouldn’t get any sleep and they gladly did even being almost fully booked (as I said the staff is great!) BUT even on the other side you had to deal with traffic noise and people coming out of the nearby pub late at night. This didn’t work with needing to keep the window open to stay cool. Wasn’t bad but I would go with a hotel with amenities and no noise.
