The Gate Hotel is definitely a great place to stay. It was very clean and the rooms were spacious.

The bed was not as clean as it should have been. Dust balls and other lint that made it seem like it was not recently cleaned. Lights in bathroom didn’t work so took a shower in the dark. On the last evening, there was a loud buzzing sound all night. I slept 2 hours and then boarded a 9 hour flight. Liked the facilities but disappointed the room didn’t seem to be checked for things like lights just not working.

Sheets/pillows on the bed smelled horrible, like they'd been sweated on and used. No real room cleaning, even on request. Weird shower that gets entire bathroom floor wet. Quite noisy from traffic in the area. We got a note on the second day that water would be unavailable all day on our third day.. first time I have ever been told in a hotel that water is not available! Staff were nice. Concept is nice, and the tea/coffee is a nice perk.

It was walking distance to the train, hoho, the tower castle and bridge. The property was very nice. Felt super safe. They have a terrace on 5 that was very enjoyable. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Very smart hotel with excellent.The terraze on the 5th floor with free tea and coffee .
