What makes a hotel great is the person in charge of making it great and in that regards the Clermont is in great hands - Michael Hedges truly cares about his guests. He’s warm, accessible and into the details.
The hotel itself is ideally located right on top of Charing Cross station. It’s super easy to access from the airport and an ideal location to explore London.
Not many gyms in London have a gym and I really appreciated it - especially the erg.
Finally, if you stay here try the Seven Deadly Sins walk with Ulrica. It’s a short walk from the hotel and an amazing perspective on the neighborhood.

Staff were so great and accommodating. The restaurant food was delicious. Incredible welcome with cake and champagne. Location is close to lots of tourists sites and easy to use Embankment and Charing Cross Undergroubd.

Great location right on the strand and spacious room, very comfortable bed and pillows, lots of snacks in the room. Quiet for such a central location. Smiling and helpful staff.
But our room had no floor heating in the bathroom and it was pretty cold. Also we had a dark room, with a windows with a view on a wall.
