Lovely hotel. Great check in team Disappointed in car parking which you have to pay for, we waited 45 minutes from a cooked breakfast (when it wasn’t busy) and no croissants or pain au chocolate were left (10am Saturday so not too late) and you have to pay to use pool facilities on day of check out (which I’ve never had in any other hotel)

I had a wonderful stay over the bank holiday. Don't be put off by negative reviews! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, the food in the restaurant was very good snd the spa was great. I had a wonderful massage.

lovely property but did look somewhat different to pictures. Check in was a little late and there was an issue with breakfast but was sorted. Only thing is, there have lots of guests using the spa but no even near enough seating or loungers for guests so some were sitting on the floor as it was so busy and myself and husband couldnt relax together as there was no seating. I did ask for further loungers but they didnt get back to me.

I’ll keep it short for you - 1. Room was given to us in the most awful condition , the lack of ac ment we couldn’t sleep on the hottest day. Would have been better if the window didn’t open up into the hotel. 2. Staff during the weekend could frankly not care less and are rude and abhorrent. 3. The room we had to be moved to was okay. 4. The spa is actually nice. 5. Food/staff at restaurant are awful.

The hotel was conveniently located near the Kew Gardens (grabbed a bus which was so easy). They first put me in a room that was extremely hot and had no working AC (top floor which was already hot). No way I could sleep sweating so thankfully they put me in another room where the AC worked perfectly. I don't know how they couldn't know that it wasn't working which I found frustrating since maneuvering around this hotel isn't easy. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Had a lovely dinner at the Gate restaurant, loved my bedroom and the massive bathroom. Staff was friendly. Didn't like the layout, lots of corridors which did wonders for my steps, spent a lot of time going around in a circle. I also had a great spa treatment.

Spa was good as were the rooms (didn’t eat in the restaurant). Location was perfect, very close to Richmond Park and a short walk into the village. Minor points for improvement were: wardrobe shelves were dusty; tea making area did not have a plug socket there (just a hole in the back of the cupboard); no spare loo roll. Parking was right outside but paid for via a 3rd party company (the hotel next door had complimentary parking if you stay there). But overall, 4oo5 stars.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay, the outdoor spa and indoor pool was our highlight- so relaxing and nothing beats watching the sunrise from a hot tub. Rooms were great, loved the mini bar and food was excellent in the restaurant. Would recommend a walk around Richmond park too.
