Booked as a solo traveler. Have stayed a couple of years ago as a solo traveler so aware that room was small. However very hot room due to being on 5 th floor. Did try to alter temperature but didn’t always work. Only given 1 pillow requested another pillow when down at reception Waited an hour nothing arrived. Realised I had no way of contacting reception as no telephone in the room! No contact via smart TV and no relevant number to use from my own phone. Got dressed went to reception which was a bit of a nuisance as have mobility problems at present. spoke to a different member of staff who didn’t appear to want to be there! but managed to get a pillow and a phone number to contact reception if needed. It was like pulling teeth! Otherwise very clean and other staff I interacted with extremely helpful. Single room overpriced but it’s London! I stay for location to UCLH so no doubt will return in the future. Maybe a double room next time!
