Nice rooms with desk and large seating area for working.
Great facilities - tea , coffee (well that was instant but clipper one so nicer brand but tbh I just bought coffee every day).
Nice you could watch free movies , and get TV channels from other countries like Italy.
Helpful staff. Cleaned the room every day that we needed.
Great location - my favourite area in London in Hackney near London fields and broadway market.
Convenient bus route to take you into the centre.
Only thing is the room was a bit dark because the window was looking out to the inner court yard. So felt a bit dark for most of the day -even if it was a sunny day. I struggle with that a bit in winter anyway.
Oh and they have free retro arcade games which was fun!
Even though they have a bar with a do, it wasn’t noisy - couldn’t hear any noise from the room.
Overall great stay.

Very close to trains, people very nice, room was good, enjoyed being there

Very nice hotel, bit odd and a little bit noisy from the neighbours but yeah a good hotel to stay

I like staying at Mama Shelter when I can. It has a great vibe, the rooms are comfy and the staff are really nice. It’s one of my favorite places to stay in London, with a great price to match!
