We had a great weekend in London and the Hyatt Blackfriars was a good choice. However we reserved a family room for one adult and two teenagers (17, 13) so we were expecting a king size bed and one more bed. On arrival, the additional bed wasn’t made up but the staff attended to it promptly. Sadly, and as my daughter put it, it was like “sleeping on a pavement” as it was so hard. Therefore all three of us had a poor night’s sleep as we all ended up in the king size bed (not super king).
Not ideal when you’re walking 25km around London!

For future reference, while our family rooms can comfortably accommodate up to three guests, the standard setup includes one king-size bed. If an additional bed is needed, it can be arranged in advance for a supplement. We encourage guests to make such requests ahead of time to ensure the best possible experience. Staff at the hotel are very good and helpful. Hiccup during check in unheard of from a star hotel but the behvaiour of the front desk, manager and others helped to manage the disappointment.
