For the price, this is not a bad hotel. It is within 5 minutes walk from Paddington station and there are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was in a single room on the ground floor, which was perfectly adequate for a 1 night stay. The decor was dated and the walls and carpet could have been cleaner, but the bathroom was clean with a good shower and the bed was comfy (wasn’t keen on the duvet covers though). For £60 in Central London it was what I expected. Don’t know if I’d stay more than a night though.

The hotel is old and dirty, no elevator, no air conditioner, the stairs are narrow and stiff, we can’t put our suitcase in our room and had to left it beside the front desk, there were already some suitcases there and maybe other guests had the same situation as us, I saw a girl had to open her suitcase to get her stuffs there in front of other guests while we checked in. The room is small and dusty, not even able to fit a small table there. The shower room is so small and hard to squeeze in, the shower water sometimes hot and sometimes cold, very uncomfortable. At the second night while we stayed, the alarm rings around 2am, we were so scare and ran downstairs, then we were told by other guests that it was fine . We were so scared and cold not fall a sleep again.But nobody in the hotel gave us any explanation the next day, I moved out to stay at my friends’s apartment the third day, cause I didn’t want to stay there any more, although we paid for staying in the hotel 3nights, my husband stayed by himself there at the third night cause we already paid and not any refund. We will not stay in this terrible hotel any more

Although the room was clean, it seriously was no bigger than a broom cupboard! I could touch both sides of the room with outstretched arms ( I’m 5’1). Same in the ‘shower room’ . Sitting on the loo, my knees touched the partition in front of me. One step sideways and I was in the shower tray, and there was no room to manoeuvre while in it! When I checked in, I was advised that I had booked an extra small single room…. Which was not highlighted on the Expedia website or booking form. At this point I joked’ was it a broom cupboard’ … and yes it was. No reception for tv viewing, no side light, no chair( no room) and ‘toiletries’ consisted of the cheapest and harshest of liquid soaps. No facilities for breakfast or evening meal. though there was an abundance of good cafes and eateries in close proximity. The guy who booked me in was very amenable and also very apologetic ref the ‘hobbit hole’ as would have found me a larger room, had they not been fully booked. Despite my seemingly negative review, it served its purpose, and the bed was very comfortable. Just be very wary when booking, that you don’t end up in the broom cupboard!

The property on Expedia is shown as a 7.5/10 or a 4 star hotel sometimes. But in reality it’s a 2 star hotel…but it’s the best 2 star hotel you can get. Staff is extremely respectful and understanding and helpful. Very nice place to stay at if you aren’t going to be in the hotel all day. Location is nice, lots of bus stops nearby and food areas just down the street. Once again very thankful to the staff team there and very much enjoyed the family rooms, very cozy and fitting.

It is really bad it’s supposed to be car park Free and with the Wi-Fi and charge me £25 for the car park and and the Wi-Fi didn’t work there wasn’t a reception not even signal, you can’t even use the phone there because of the signal I had my kids with me. We couldn’t even use the TV because like I said there wasn’t Wi-Fi. I’m advising other people to not got there, please and do not waste your money.thanks

Hotels in London are very expensive, especially traveling with a family of five, but I wonder if I should have taken a better hotel anyway. Positive of this hotel is the location, very close to Paddington station and Hyde Park. But we were five persons in a very crowded room, without A/C, without refrigerator, a tiny bathroom, three floors up without elevator, and beds which we did not get much sleep in in this heat. But it was a hotel room for five people, at a price which for London was probably reasonable.

I work as Building surveyor Multi Trader and stay in 30 - 50 hotels a year. For a 2 star hotel. Alot of other hotels could learn a great deal. Fof the room Rate which in its location is very reasonable. Also the staff were polite friendly professional & attentive. Excellent location in Paddington London. 3 mins walk to main high street & restaurants pubs shops. The room was spotlessly clean. Nice comfortable bed very peaceful at night. Dark curtains to block out light. Excellent wifi. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Photos of the rooms are not accurate to what you receive. Was very disappointed when we first got in to our hotel and the state of our room. The staff were very nice and moved us to a a slightly bigger room but I wouldn’t want to stay here again, i understand London is expensive but our floors weren’t vacuumed, the first room had a bad smell and no ac just a really old fan. The bathrooms are so small and stuffy was horrible having to try and use the washrooms

Hotel receptionist was a very friendly gentleman. Told me where local shops were and where to eat. The room was well presented, very clean ,no mould or things broken.There were even USB ports in the double socket!! Lovely and quiet too, which in london is hard to find. I booked last minute and I wasn't expecting the hotel to be so nice, considering how cheap it was. I was upgraded to a double room,with no extra cost. Would definitely stay here again.
