Slow check in. Room was advertised as without window which wasnt an issue as it is what we expected. Room was in basement and the way to get to it was odd with weird coridoors and fire escape/utility areas (the lift didnt work). We booked a double room but were given a twin (probably could have gone to the front desk to resolve this but with how long check in took and the queue behind us we didnt really want to wait any longer). Room itself was basic but expected for the price we paid. Basic tea and coffee facilities. Cleaning was on request not daily. Convenient location if you are visiting canary wharf or anywhere along jubilee line as the tube is nearby. Lobby and bar area was dated. Perhaps rooms that are more expensive are more modernly fitted but for £300 plus pounds we expected a little more.

Didn’t like the room was too cold.
Not value for money.
Didn't like the way the manager/security talk to customers.

Room was clean and small, but adequate and the Bar Staff were pleasant.
The receptionist was not very polite. and tried to give me a twin room rather than a double, and then she blamed Expedia!! She did not give me any information as to the location of the room and I had to ask a porter who was very accommodating
