Unusually for most budget hotels. room had iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Whilst the staff were delightful the hotel is undergoing major renovation with no warnings given. Only 1 lift which was being used for paint and staff and materials for the renovations making it slow, unreliable and dangerous. The gym and washrooms for the bar and restaurant were out of action. There were also technical problems within rooms (heating stuck at 16 degrees and tvs not working).

Overall a decent hotel - the room had good amenities and staff were all helpful. The free drink at the bar was a nice touch! Location is super handy for Euston station which is great. However, the room was a little bit tired and pretty small, we found there really wasn’t much room to put anything down. There was also some temporary traffic lights outside heading to/ from the main road that meant there was lots of cars hooting at all times of day - the windows were actually reasonably sound proof but still a bit annoying although out of the hotel’s control.

A problem was that on arrival to the hotel I was asked to pay up front a deposit for the room 50.00 GBP. This has been debited to my account despite assurance that it would only be held on my card. This was a negative for my stay that I now have to contact the hotel to sort it out. I am annoyed with this as no warning was given that I needed to pay this prior to my stay.

Just off to the south of Euston station, this hotel is super convenient. It’s walkable to many of the museums. We were given a newly renovated room, which was very nice and comfortable. The room is quite small but efficient. The bathroom was smaller than standard, and while very functional, there isn’t anywhere one can place anything more than a toothbrush, because the sink is so small like that of the dentist’s. Overall, it’s a good place to stay at for a night.

This is a great hotel for a few nights stay. Felt so homely, wonderfully central. Clean. Great bed. Nice pillows. Lovely staff. Didn’t use the bar/eatery so cannot comment.

No hot water, terrible! Sink in bath room did not drain properly. We brought these issues to the attention of the staff and they did nothing. Unacceptable!
