Great spot near food and transportation

no microwave, asked to supply our own toilet paper when we called for more. elevator never worked the entire time we were. there 5 days we were on the 3rd floor. charged 50$ when I asked for a two hour late check out! TV no instruction on how to use same for the washer/dryer combo.

there 5 days the elevator was not working the entire time. hard to get a quick response to a question, all by e-mail. when we called for toilet paper we were told we were expected to supply our own! no microwave, no instruction on tv, or washer drier combo unit, no wash cloths even after we asked for them.

Great apartment with super location
Posted 13 Jul 2024 on HotelsCentral location with good tube/bus connections within a couple of minutes of walk. Couldn't get the mobile app to work as a door key, but keyfob's where also available in a small safe downstairs from the entrance.

The Good:
Good location and apartment was relatively spacious (by London std) and clean.
The Bad:
Minus 1 star for zero wifi signal in bedroom! I assume the wifi hub is in the living room.
Minus 2 stars for non-functional lift! I have to haul my two big luggage all the way up to the 4th floor. The last floor has really steep staircase.
The Ugly:
First beef is the annoying app to download to access apartment. My phone signal is slow to begin and it took a long time to get the app and instructions down.
Another beef is that they charged my 30 extra pounds to delay my check out time from 10am to 11am.

It is a clean, good size studio for a family of 4. Walkable to Hyde Park and all the main attractions. Bakeries, restaurants, shopping close by. The only part that they need to improve is the initial contact with the agent once you booked the room. It wouldn’t allow us to check in. It wouldn’t accept our email or phone number. Then while we were trying to call them they actually called us. The agent said the reason we couldn’t add our email for the check in process to begin is because she didn’t “unlock” it. After that moment of frustration all things went smoothly. We had a box in front of the building, down a few steps, a code to punch in, a key for the apartment and that’s it. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and well-located. Although property management is not onsite, they were very responsive when we had requests, including calling me to follow up. They were also quick to respond when we had questions during the booking process. I would stay at this or another Stayo property in the future.

This room was advertised as a two double beds when in fact it was one with a cheap fold out couch with a thin foam mattress. It was a contactless checkin which asks for more money before you can even enter. Way overpriced for what was advertised.

The property was very clean and comfortable and had a very nice aesthetic. We were sorry to find that there was a wall monitor only, with no tv reception. The location is excellent - near museums, shops and restaurants.
