Pros: Breakfast was a little above average. Powdered eggs and nice potatos. Link sausage. Waffles and the usual cold cereal & fruit. Room was big enough to move around (king bed). Shower had fair water pressure and was always hot. Plenty of TV channels. Cons: Swimming pool is a building by itself and you have to cross the parking lot to use it. Smoke detector had a blinking light like a flash from a camera. Very bright. Had someone from the hotel try to enter our room with no knocking. Could have been a guest with a key that the front desk gave them and didn't check to see the room was occupied. Neutral: Bed was firm and not good for side sleepers. Bathroom was small. Bad design but it is an older hotel. Mini-fridge didn't get the drinks etc. as cold as I would have liked. Ice isn't in a convenient place for most of the rooms. Downtown within walking distance of many shops. Front desk was nice enough but not sure I would stay again.

I requested a 1st floor room when I arrived, The service representative at the counter stated they were full, As I looked around the parking lot and viewed into other rooms they were empty, I am going to assume these are a first come first serve as at the time I made my reservation it did not give me an option to request a first floor ground level room. This was the second time staying at this location, 1st time was perfect back on 05/24/2024, But this 2nd stay on 06/14/2024 was not so perfect, The small refrigerator was noisy, I was placed on the second floor even though I requested a 1st floor (bad knees and heavy luggage), I honestly do not believe I will be using your services next, for the billing of $137.00 it was not worth the stay this 2nd time. Maybe others will but I will not be.

I am sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience. Yes, ground floor rooms are given based on guest request. I apologize that the booking engine you used, to reserve your room, did not give the option to add a note, to request a ground floor room. I will make sure that the fridge in the room you had gets replaced, thank you for letting us know. Again, I am sorry that we did not meet or exceed your expectations. I hope you will give us another opportunity in the future.

the stinkiest Wifi on the planet. I depend on my laptop to plan my next day and I lost a whole block of time that set me back hours. The connection kept dropping and the few minutes it was on the speed was below the 1995 14kb standard. Atrocious. The rest? Below standard, except for the shining and gleeming reception area. Oh, they have the guts to call soup kitchen offerings 'breakfast?'

Thank you for your feedback. I currently am in the process of upgrading our internet speeds, at this property, install planned for 6/21. I apologize that you had a terrible experience with the wifi and the breakfast. Normally we get glowing reviews about our breakfast selection; I will definitely reach out to staff to make sure we do not have a repeat issue.
