Beyond awful it is a bio hazard. Only saw staff when I checked in. I think only two people were running the entire hotel. We only stayed one night and that was too long dog hair all over the carpet and bed husband had an asthma attack. The hotel is filthy and very rundown. There is no restaurant on site. Only a McDonald’s and I am vegan so there was nothing there for me. Do not go here. Pay attention to the other reviews, it may be a convenient stop off for some people, but I’m not prepared to risk my health staying there.

Booked family room for parents and child with lake view while travelling South. Unfortunatley we could not see the apparent lake as there was just tall bushes visible. The additional bed to accomodate our child was a single bed mattress laid on the floor infront of the balcony window. We got a partial refund after complaining about the service which was appreciated. The hotel cost is quite high considering it doesn't offer breakfast.

A Gem situated in a service station
Posted 14 Aug 2024 on HotelsWe did not hold up much hope for a hotel situated in a services on a motorway but this was a very pleasant surprise. The room was quiet, spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains did their job. We had a good night’s sleep for both the nights we stayed. The shower was good and bathroom clean.
The staff were friendly and did their best to please. There are lovely views over the lake from the eating area.
Highly recommend this hotel especially if you are using it as a base to visit the area.

An utterly average property. I would have given 3 stars, but needed to downgrade it by one star given the tv satellite connection was so glitchy you couldn't watch it and the shower only provided extremely hot water. There was no way to alter it - it was absolutely scalding the moment it was turned on. Cant think of anything more dangerous, expecially for those travelling with children. I didn't raise these issues onsite, given we arrived in the evening and left first thing in the morning. This review is meant as a warning to others.
