We spent three weeks touring the UK, and never stayed in the same place twice. This was absolutely one of our favorite stays. Nice friendly pub, we had a delicious supper, and full English breakfast.
This could easily be a destination stay.

Great Hospitality
Posted 12 Jul 2024 on HotelsThe hospitality, food and service were all excellent. The hotel desperately needs redecoration. The outside looks quite shabby. The All Seasons room which we stayed in was also in need of redecoration. There was no shower, just a bath and no way to wash your hair. The hot water was very slow to arrive.
Even so we really enjoyed our stay and would happily go back. The staff were ultra efficient and very friendly.

The bedroom door lock was a bit difficult. The curtains could not be drawn for night time - the curtain consisted of 3 pieces.

The Inn has been around for a couple hundred years, so it's bound to show a little wear, but the staff and food were excellent and the location fabulous, with a lot of Scottish history nearby.
