I tried to alter my booking dates through Expedia's website, was informed by their Bot that it'd all been taken care of. Didn't receive the promised confirmation email so called the hotel to check and it hadn't happened at all. Thank you so much to the guy at the hotel for re-arranging everything so perfectly, otherwise we'd have turned up without a reservation. Next time we'll book with the hotel directly. You find out how good an organisation is when you need them to help you out and Expedia failed utterly on this occasion .

Lovely, quiet hotel in beautiful surroundings.
Posted 5 Sep 2023 on HotelsWe had a really nice stay - only one night, travelling through, wish we could have stayed longer! One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The large swimming pool was very clean and empty when we there. Nice bar with pool table and very friendly staff. Pleasant 15 minute walk through the forest to get to the centre. Would definitely stay here again.

Overpriced & used up
Posted 3 Aug 2018 on HotelsThe hotel is way over priced. Needs massive renovation. Elevator didn’t work. We were placed on the 2 nd floor. No help in getting our luggage up. Bad service.

Great place to stay!
Posted 10 Jun 2017 on HotelsVery good place to stay. Good value for the money. Rented bikes at the hotel. Very reasonably priced. Great area to go biking. Not the easiest place to find because it's off the beaten path.

Pros: Close to the meetings I was attending
Cons: Overall it could do with a lick of paint!
Location: Didn't have time to explore the area really - only there overnight
Part business, part pleasiure. The hotel staff were efficient and friendly, the rooms very comfortable if a little tired in decor. But a very pleasant stay with excellent food, very welcoming.
