"From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. We were able to check in a bit earlier and there was no issue. The room was beautiful and impeccably clean with the most stunning views. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and the owner couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home. We stayed 2 nights and climbed Ben Nevis and the room had been cleaned before we returned. Highly recommend, one of the nicest places with the nicest people I’ve been to for a while. Thank you, Aimee & Jake X"

"This is a perfect apartment for a small group to visit Fort William. It has a parking spot if you are driving yourself. It put us in driving range ti visit the Isle of Skye. Takes a whole day to do but worth it if you get over that way"

"The check in is SO confusing. We checked in at the castle up the road. They stated we were in the cottage so we went to the cottage which did not have our room number. We went back to the castle and they finally told us to go to the pub and the room was above it. Great room, 2 bathrooms!"

"We stayed while walking the Great Glen Way. It is another hour’s walk from the route so we were grateful to Simon for picking us up and dropping us off the next morning, for a small fee. Comfortable room. We ate dinner at the Old Station, a short walk away, which was very good. Good breakfast."

"Very nice. Clean. On the expensive side but no options near by. Lots of amenities "included". WiFi blocked so you have restrictions. Television programs Middle East based. Breakfast was a buffet but pretty good. "

"This is the third time that I have stopped here. Personally, I love it, but if you are looking for a top notch accommodation then this is not for you. "We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room. Saying this the bed was big and so so comfy after walking all day. Their was a small domino stove top, small fridge for the wine and crockery and cup/glasses all was spotless. The showers and toilet are a few steps away and were clean and tidy. *Just a side note these are not exclusive to the Bothies and general public use these with a small charge. The Bothie was a great base for us for a couple of nights in a beautiful area of natural beauty."
