Lobkowicz Palace (Lobkowiczký Palác) is a lavish Baroque palace and the property of the aristocratic Lobkowicz family. Located inside the Prague Castle complex, it serves as both a family home and public museum. Visit Lobkowicz Palace to browse examples of art from the 1100s to 1900s. Enjoy splendid panoramic views over Prague’s rooftops and attend atmospheric performances of classical music.

The palace’s museum hosts the celebrated art exhibition called the Lobkowicz Collections. Admire a gallery with portraits of the most important members of the Lobkowicz family. See paintings by Brueghel the Elder and Canaletto and peruse displays of porcelain and military weapons. Learn about the family’s storied past and how they twice lost and regained their riches. Don’t miss the original manuscripts of Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Step out onto the palace’s terrace to marvel at the sweeping city views. Spot major Prague landmarks such as Charles Bridge, Old Town Square and St. Vitus Cathedral. Hear stories about the history of Prague and its most significant monuments via an excellent audio guide.

Lobkowicz Palace is open daily. There is an admission fee, which includes an audio guide for the museum and terrace.
