we had a lovely three night stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable and very clean. We had a wonderful buffet breakfast that was hosted by the friendly Jose. We had a delightful view from the window with the church that struck the hours twice. There was a lovely plaza with a fountain and a sparrow roost in the evening. Although at this time of year the restaurant wasnt open a(although there was a cafe that had tapas next door) this wasnt a problem for us as we were able to eat in two local villages about 10km away. Beautiful area and we hope to revisit the hotel again in the spring.

The property is located in a wonderful town somewhat off the beaten track for many tourists but amazing scenery and lots to do. The family that runs the hotel are caretakers for an old world location. The rooms are clean and comfortable and you are greated warmly like a guest not a customer and their ability to communicate in many languages put you at ease. There are places to sit by a cosy fire or on a lovely terrace and a town to explore and a medieval castle. The food is tasty and well presented, reflecting local menus and they go out of their way to make the dinners and breakfasts suit all tastes including gluten free. This is a gem of a facilty in a wonderful location that should not be missed. The only regret is we did not discover earlier so we could have spent more time. A don't miss opportunity to experience old world service and charm.

A good base for exploring Northern Aragon
Posted 29 Sep 2016 on HotelsThis was our second stay and we were disappointed to find that the very good restaurant was not open while the new management make improvements over the quiet Autumn period. They were very welcoming and hopefully the food will be as good as before when the restaurant reopens (with the added benefit of a terrace on the square of this quiet town). Do check if you are wanting an evening meal as there seems nowhere to get dinner in Loarre (or in nearby Ayerbe on a Sunday night) though the other restaurant in Loarre (lunch only) has an appealing-looking - and well-priced menu. The very large and well-preserved Loarre Castle is well worth a visit and there are lots of other sights in the surrounding area.
