"Great, centrally-located property. The appartment was modern, clean &spacious. The staff were friendly & helpful. I had a room above the pedestrianised area which meant there was a bit of noise from people leaving the pubs but it soon died down. I'd stay again."

"Roy was an exceptional host, he was very informative about how to get to the property as the sat nav was a little bit unreliable. He showed us around the hut with all the facilities that were available. The hut had everything u could possible need. It was beautiful and relaxing and I cannot fault it at all. "The hotel was nice with very friendly staff and had great amenities however the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned as there was dirt in the bath and we found lipstick stains on the glasses before we used them, there’s lots to do in the local area, however I would not recommend the hotel bar as £7.50 and for a old Mout cider and £19 for a gin and tonic is day light robbery "

"We went for a Valentines weekend. On arrival the staff were professional and friendly. For some reason we were not given the room I thought I had booked via Expedia, but the character of the room was immense although it was in the rafters. Unfortunately my husband is almost 6'4" tall and struggled in the room due to the low ceiling and sloping beam. The owner upgraded us, at no extra charge, to an absolutely beautiful room. I can say that we will definitely go back! The food was excellent, the area brought back childhood memories for my husband. I had never been to Crickhowell (Crug Hywel), and my husband had not been for some 60 years. It was an amazing weekend for us. Highly recommended."

A lucky find

"A last minute stay we found this gem. the room was lovely with controls on the temperature, the tea and coffee provided was good quality. the room and bed were very comfortable and quiet. the pub was inviting, with regulars eating. they had good gluten free options and being just a few steps from the room very inviting. the breakfast was delicious and was a nice end to our stay. I would stay again if needing a room while in the area or close by"
