Does a job
All in all this was a decent stop. The hotel is basic but clean. It's central to everything. Staff were pleasant.
It's not 4star experience but you're not paying 4 star prices.
I was happy with my stay.
The hotel is very old and out dated. The room was awful, wall paper half peeling off and then extra wall paper round the bed side cabinets also peeling off. Carpet had rips in it. Shower was extremely weak no pressure. Seriuosly not worth the £89 for one night. Cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings. Just a poor hotel. Needs serious renovation. Would not stay here again.
Amazingly friendly ambience. Bonnie and John were excellent hosts who made you feel part of their family. They gave us a discount for arrival a day late and John went out his way in giving directions, sorting out our train journey back to Manchester and printing out our airplane boarding passes back to Belfast. Night porter Bach always had our key ready when we arrived back late most nights. Overall they made for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Thoroughly recommended for any visitor to lovely Llandudno. How this hotel could charge anything is a disgrace. Completely disgusting. The health board need to go there and shut the place down. Yuk!!!

Pleasant staff
Hotel staff are very friendly and polite, the hotel is in a great location.
The building is looking a little tired inside and out.
We were in room 25 which is at the very top of the hotel, the room was in a state of disrepair but clean enough for one night, the room is tiny with a sloping ceiling which you bang your head on if you are over five feet tall.
Breakfast was nice, with local produce.
Would go back to this hotel but not that room.

Value for money
Business trip, very convenient but not the ritz.
Helpful service and get what you paid for.
This hotel is in need of a complete overhaul. The bathrooms, decor and carpets. The staff are friendly and helpful but ...... The only plus is its central location
This Hotel needs a complete refurbishment , very dated . It says it has free parking, but that is only if you can find a space on the road outside the hotel . The breakfast is very basic 1 sausage ,1 slice of bacon, 1 egg , beans & 1 plum tomato,(they didn't ask what you would like) you could help yourself to toast & cereal.
For the price it was very basic , will not be returning.
The guy at reception was miserable and very unhelpfull room was outdated and shabby and not very clean breakfast was awful wont be staying there again more like a hostel than a hotel not very good for parking either.
First impressions were ok. Reception area dated but functional. Room was adequate with clean linen on bed. Cleanliness otherwise not so great.
Staff was attentive, but until refurb has been undertaken, probably wouldn't stay again. Door to the room not very secure either, and it definately wasn't the picture shown on booking website.
Hotel is up for sale, so may have influenced their lack of care and attention to rooms. Shower rail with curtain was so low it was like a kids changing room in primark. Shower also scalded one minute and froze the next. wrong duvets on bed and woke with bug bites. Rooms also too hot as heating on constantly and with window open - traffic noise! Bacon for breakfast also fried in old burned fat - not what you need having had very little sleep. Parking around hotel also non existent.

Lovely, friendly staff. Very nice location. The hotel itself is a bit faded, kind of like the town itself. But it was inexpensive, the breakfast was good (quite good), and not a bad place if you're looking for cheap and easy.
This hotel was disgustingly dirty. The carpet in our room was filthy, wallpaper was coming off the walls. The wash basin was cracked. The beds were uncomfortable. The door frame was chipped. There was a dirty bath mat and socks on top of the wardrobe. In the breakfast room/lounge bar the curtains were falling off the rails. I have photos but not sure how to send them with this review.
A tired hotel that could benefit from some TLC. Sadly there are many such hotels and I appreciate that upgrading and refurbishing is so expensive. It was very convenient for the town and the staff tried hard. I would not go back though.
Very small room with limited space.Clean and adequate but needs refurbishment as dated and in need of upgrade. Staff pleasant and breakfast ok.Front of hotel in need of upkeep.
I booked this hotel because the website said it was disabled accessible, this wasn't really true. When I checked in I was immediately told it wasn't really accessible. It had a lift up to the floors but once entering the room there was no room to move and when leaving I had to get out backwards. The bathroom was totally inaccessible to a wheelchair and I had to get on the floor to get to it. If you are a wheelchair user this is not the hotel for you.
On the good side the bacon and eggs for breakfast were really nice!

Pleasant hotel
Clean room, a little dated in decor & carpeting. Breakfast was ok, portions were not over generous but adequate.
The older chap on the front desk is a grumpy old todger and when I arrived an hour early for check in he was rude and very unhelpful , he was rude to his staff and don't know why this man is in the hospitality game. Day 2 no breakfast arrived after a 45 minute wait got a little bored so left the dining room. Good location wouldn't recommend this dated place at all
