This was our favorite place during our trip! The views are unbelievable. The staff was friendly, and we were able to store our luggage while grabbing breakfast after checking out. They called a taxi for us, as well.
Excellent location close to everything. We had reservations at Strelec in the castle and this was so convenient to the funicular, as well as walkable after many glasses of wine. We hope to be back!

Kollman Rooms was a perfect choice for visiting Ljubjana! It is not far into the walking city with luggage. The staff are pleasant and helpful and there are many opportunities for eating and shopping nearby. My only difficulty was bringing heavy luggage up two flights without a lift.

This property is INSIDE a hostel.
Before our stay I couldn’t find this information anywhere.
We were on the top floor in the two bedroom apartment (I was prepared for the stairs) and the room itself was OK. I would not recommend for mature travellers who are used to nicer things. Would be great for a group of 20 year olds looking for a decent cheap space.
The hostel rooms could see inside my bedroom and bathroom (and I could see their bunk beds)
Twin beds mattresses were 4 inches thick.
All curtains have been torn off wall leaving holes and duct tape.
Bathroom is in TWO rooms. Shower and sink in one and toilet and sink and washer in another room! Doors are hard to close as well.
The shower NEEDS a better enclosure and has mold in the crevices. Water gets everywhere even when being careful and window goes out into the stairwell.
There are good views from the king bed bedroom. Overall - we almost decided to stay elsewhere.

The unit you booked is the oldest at our house and it will be renovated when the seasons ends. Kollmann rooms and apartments and AdHoc hostel are not in the same building, only the entrance and the reception is the same for both properties since both accommodations are run by the same company. Great old town location.
Posted 3 Oct 2024 on HotelsRoom was very nice and in a very central location in the old town, overlooking the river. Would happily recommend. Parking 5-10 mins walk away.

The staff were very accommodating when we arrived early for check in. While the room was not ready, they checked us in and stored our bags.
We had a top floor room which was really comfortable. There is no elevator which could be challenging for some guests, but did not bother us.
The room was very comfortable and well equipped with a kitchenette. The bed was in a loft which we really liked. The bed was comfortable.
The area is fantastic. Everything is within a 15 minute walk and there are lots of restaurants around.

The area where this property is situated is beautiful--right next to the river walk, so you can reach shopping and dining quite easily. The room had a loft and pull out bed so it suited us fine, plus there was a kitchenette with refrigerator, toaster, stovetop and other amenities. We were on the 4th floor without an elevator, but the staff did help carry luggage up and down. The shower is a poor design and there was no way to take a shower without getting the bathroom floor wet. Otherwise we really enjoyed the place and the staff was very friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, central to everything. Spacious apartment with fun mezzanine bedroom. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities.
