We had late checkin because our rooms weren’t ready, (which was a huge inconvenience to 321/319) then we got two connecting rooms like requested and as we were walking in from unloading the car. Was told we couldn’t get those rooms anymore and we got two rooms next door to eat other but not connecting. Once we got to our room 319 it was pee in the toilet with the seat up. And when it got flushed it was then not working and someone had to come fix the toilet. The bathroom tub floor was dirty in 321 when we checked in. When we woke up the next day half the room power was out, plus the phone was out. The free breakfast was cereal, yogurt with toppings, bread, and cold bagels with no way to warm them up.Juice, milk , and coffee. The elevator was out from the power outage and I’m recovering from multiple injuries and had to make multiple trips with my belonging up and down 3 flights of stairs. This was a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I was nowhere near pleased with the experience.

Perfect location for brief stay for work purposes - convenient, clean, comfortable and several restaurants nearby

The Hyatt Place in Livonia was not one I would recommend. We were there for 2 nights 10/31 and 11/1. The property was clean and located in a nice area accessible to shopping and dinning. The front desk staff were not professional. They sit in lobby and wait till someone approaches desk to come to desk. Breakfast that was offered on the first morning was okay. The second morning at 7:30 am they were out of pastries, breads, eggs, fruits and didn’t appear to be replenishing. There was only one carafe of coffee and no creamer available for use. I would definetely not choose this hotel .
