The staff at the Mosi-O-Tunya Lodge are exceptional and provide an excellent quality of service. This property is a great deal at the price point. We enjoyed our room and the lovely breakfast service.

This is an older property that was built to be a show pieced with brand name appliances, Samsung and LG, unusual for this part of the world. The property has suffered from a lack of expenditure in upkeep and could be fairly said to be looking a little worn. It also suffers from poor State run infrastructure with the area blacked out every day from 1400-2200. Our stay was saved by dedicated Night Manager whom was friendly and determined to ensure we had a pleasant stay. She pushed the owners to change over from the small emergency generator which only provided lighting to the proper standby generator in order for us to have full use of all of the appliances (ie air-con, fridge, TV) in our room prior to the grid connection re-energising at 2200 and she succeeded thus minimising the time we had to endure the lack of amenities. People make all the difference and accordingly due to the Night Manager's efforts I am happy to recommend staying at the property.

Pros: Thought they might have at least given us a free lift back to the border as they did not have to provide transport from their airport.
We were under impression that we would be picked up from Victoria Falls Airport ! my Mistake ! they meant Livingstone. I also thought there was a dual visa available . Not so !! Cost us 'heaps' for visas and taxis and you must take US dollars with you . Cost us dearly to have to draw US$ from the ATM. To make it not worth while NO WATER IN THE Zambesi,

A Nice Place to Stay

This is a great place, just a bit off the beaten track. It is off the tar road a way. That made for a quiet night, but a difficult drive at times.

Sehr nettes Personal. Sauber. Reichhaltiges english breakfast. Warmwasser. Stromversorgung durch Generator gesichert. Preiswert.
