Enjoyed staying here again. Our dog friendly family room was spacious and quiet with good quality amenities plus dog bed and bowls. Buffet breakfast much improved since our last stay two years ago and catered for all and we were able to have the dog with us in the dog friendly area. A relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Hotel overlooks the demolition of derelict Southport Theatre and the Floral Hall.
Skeleton staff on reception & bar, assuming this is due to cutbacks.

Comfortable, well-located hotel with good facilities and helpful staff. We’ve stayed a few time and on this visit the breakfast was much improved, with more fresh fruit. An issue with room heating was swiftly resolved.

Check in and reception were very good but first room had been smoked in and when the housekeeping manager came up she “sniffed” and told me that it hadn’t and gave me a look to imply I was delusional !! It clearly had been and I told her so. Reception gave us another room without any issue which was appreciated. The bar for drinks in evening had no cold sparking wine and each time we were served a bottle of warm wine to try to chill in ice!!

Thanks very much Paul for this great feedback. I do apologise about your experience with a smell of smoke in the room; it might have been handled more professionally and I do apologise. I'm glad we were able to sort another room for you very quickly. I am also sorry that the wine served was not at the proper temperature. This will be passed on to our restaurant manager so that refresher training can be implemented. Your comments are very helpful and very much appreciated.

The hotel is very convenient and we'll maintained. Only thing I found was the car park at £15 a day. Breakfast was very nice and hot.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The property was clean and modern. Best hotel I've stayed at in Southport. Use the carpark to the right of the hotel, a third of the price of the underground carpark.
