This hotel was in a great location with a car park right next door, everything is in walking distance . The room was clean and had plenty of storage space. The pool was nice but would advise booking before you stay as the only time slot available was 5pm when we got there which wasn’t an ideal time with kids.

We discovered this hotel 5 years ago and absolutely loved it! We've stayed since then as the location is perfect and the pool is great. This was our third visit and it was very disappointing. Not one bit of maintenance or upkeep has been done since we stayed in 2019 and our bathroom was disgusting. Mouldy and the shower screen leaked. The air con unit was not ones of the digital ones and the first night we nearly boiled alive. The next night we opened the window the tiny fraction we're allowed to and had it on the temperature we were told to by the receptionist and at least got some sleep. Unfortunately our room wasn't serviced despite me telling Reception this at 3.30 and them saying they would tell Housekeeping. When we returned at 10pm, it still hadn't been done and I had to go down to Reception to tell them as no one was answering the phone (there were two of them there in the back room). I was brought clean towels and more tea and milk and when the Receptionist brought them up I told him about the air con unit and showed him the bathroom. He apologised and said he could see about moving us to a different room but it was late and we leaving in the morning so it wasn't worth it. It would have been nice to have been offered something for the issues we had.
