Breakfast was a little chaotic. Waited 15min for decaffeinated coffee.

Property is ok for the purpose of our stay. Overpriced for a Saturday night in Liverpool to attend a wedding in the same property. Requested for a double bed in the room but only two single beds that needed to be brought together that made the sleep not so comfortable. However, the bill suggested that this best room available. I think I should have gone directly to the hotel to book the room rather than booking through Expedia . My friend who did that had a better deal.No I did not make a fuss about the two single beds.

I'm sorry to say that 2 single beds is what you booked through your agent, still, we would have been more than happy to fix this for you!
I'm surprised the software allowed you to say the part about booking, as we're not alloweed to mention it in our responses; But yes you're right.

Room lighting didn’t work apart from one light which had a broken switch leaving internals exposed. Supposedly been checked over prior to arrival!

Spacious public areas, room was also spacious, bathroom very roomy. Decor and furnishings well-chosen. Staff pleasant and very helpful.

Loved it. A short stay but fantastic stay - great spa, great vibe and love that part of town.
