The lad on check in was lovely and the lady on check out was great very helpful. When we come in last night the man not sure if he was security or staff. There is a age difference between me and my partner when we come in he asked what room number which is totally fine then he asked got the book out and starting looking to see if I was in the room with my partner I felt like he thought I was a prostitute and I was bring a lad back to my room I have never ever felt like that in my life hotel was perfect but I'll never go back now

Thanks for your review. Every guest is asked to identify themselves as would be in any hotel. Why you would think he would of thought you were a prostitute is ludicrous! The night porter merely doing his job and we are not that type of establishment thank you!

From website it was not made clear the level of noise and lack of elevator. This was only made explicit after the reservation was made and the time for refund had expired.

This is incorrect. You are advised that the hotel is in the city centre also that it is above a lively bar. In addition you are sent an email IMMEDIATELY after booking reiterating this fact. If you left it too late to cancel unfortunately that is your error not ours. You also made no mention of the noise on check out just that you were unhappy with emergency lighting?

Nice room and i could walk to all the main sights from it. People working at the hotel were all friendly and helpful.

Noise was unacceptable, loud until 2:00am...even earplugs didnt work. Towels were torn, wake up calls did not happen. Although the expedia site said thete was no lift , the stairs are very steep and wouldn't meet any codes. Expedia should make sure that the noise should be mentioned before payment and not after. Hotel close to train station.

Guest are advised of our location. We are right in the middle of the city centre and unfortunately do not have control about the noise from surrounding bars. Calls were made to your room to advise of wake up call also

Great spot

It's not the Ritz, but it is perfect for an overnight stay in Liverpool. Been back about half a dozen times.
Lot of stairs mind, so keep that in mind if you struggle with mobility.

Loved thd room and receotion staff laies and gents. Noise from pub jept us a wake util the ealy hous was shatted not hsving uch sleep x 😴
