We were quite disappointed with the room when we got there, we noticed that the bed felt extremely uncomfortable and after looking into this we noticed that the mattress was ripped open on once side and the metal bars and springs were exposed hence the discomfort.

Property and room was ok. No lift to upper floors, and parking is now payable and not free as previously advised on some booking sites.

General standard of the facilities were poor. Noise transfer between rooms was bad. Extremely dated. Smelt stale and damp.

I have stayed here numerous times to go to Bongos Bingo as it is only a short distance walk to cains brewary. The hotel is clean but the rooms could do with an update but can’t complain when we get a good price . The reception area, bar and restaurant are lovely and the food is great. Parking being free is also a real bonus

Waited 30 minutes to get checked in even though i had all correspondence to say i had paid .Plus not what i expected for the price £151 plus when asked for late checkout that is no longer available REALLY??? I paid for premium not basic WHAT is the difference??? Need updating IT equipment VERY disappointed
